Upcoming Local Events

Enjoy year-round fun in Fennville, Saugatuck, and nearby South Haven Michigan.  In the fall, the annual Goose Festival holds great adventures, including a 5K, a parade, a classic car show, and live musical performances.  Another local favorite is the Blueberry Festival held annually in South Haven which includes a blueberry pie social and outdoor entertainment.

Christmas Parade in Downtown Saugatuck


Downtown Saugatuck
Line up on Butler St. in downtown Saugatuck to enjoy the annual "Whoville" Christmas parade, or better yet, dress as your favorite Whoville character and join our parade which includes our local high school band, Peppermint Stick Brigade and Snow Shovel drill team.  Followed by a tree-lighting ceremony.

Tuesday in the Park Concert Series


Memorial Park, Fennville
Hosted by the Greater Fennville Chamber of Commerce, the annual Tuesday in the Park Concert Series offers a wide variety of musical performances which are free to the public. Bring your own lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy the music!

Free to the public, the concerts are sponsored by local Greater Fennville chamber of commerce businesses.
In case of inclement weather, the event will be held at Fennville District Library on Mainstreet. An opportunity to purchase tickets for a 50/50 drawing will be available. 

Drumming Circles

Shore Acres Park, Saugatuck
Drummers meet in the Shore Acres Park in Lake township surrounded by the Saugatuck dunes. There are drums and percussion instruments available to borrow or participants can bring their own. There are always percussion instruments from all over the globe, allowing everyone to experiment in a world cultural tour through sound and craftsmanship.

Pottery Classes at Khnemu Studio

Khnemu Studio is an intimate small-scale ceramics arts facility. Schedule a tour or hands-on pottery workshop offered by visiting artists.  Space is limited, so make sure to make a reservation. Suitable to various skill levels.

Maritime Boat Walk

Goose Festival

The annual Goose Festival is held in October and begins with a Wild Goose Chase 5k, and continues with several activities including the Gosling Run for kids, the Goose Festival Parade, a classic car show, student art shows, historical exhibits, goose calling competitions, an arts and crafts show, a petting zoo, performances to be announced at a later date, and lots more!
