Gracie Daily
is a shepherdess and has Nine Oaks Farm where she breeds Cotswold
sheep and sells the wool in various stages in Plainwell, Michigan.
Her loving pet is an Australian
Shepherd named Dodger. Despite his name, the Australian Shepherd
is an American dog, used in herding, protecting, and various
competitive sports. The Aussie is very intelligent and craves
activity.
Dodger was about 4 years
old when the watercolor pet artwork was painted. Although he is a herding
breed, Dodger is much better at being a "nanny" to
baby animals and a loving pet to Gracie and her husband.
I have also painted portraits
of Gracie's prize-winning Cotswold sheep.
