There is also a 2% discount when you pay cash for your stay. We have many attractive Michigan travel specials and can make all the reservations for you and add the cost to your stay... from flowers and candies to sleigh rides in the winter... You can always get a gift certificate for that someone special as a wedding gift or for the mom and dad who have everything as a birthday, anniversary, or Christmas gift. A getaway for before the baby is born is a great baby shower gift.
The Inn is located on two acres that have wonderful flower gardens all summer long and huge maple trees that shade the many swings on our property and give a spectacular display every fall.

Spring flowers awaken our yard as the flower gardens come to life. In the Summer, the flower beds come into full bloom. The Autumn season is one of the best times to enjoy J. Paule's Fenn Bed and Breakfast Inn because of the beautiful changing leaves on the large maple trees that surround our B&B. Pecan French Toast
1/2 C. Butter
3/4 C. Packed Brown Sugar
2 Tb. Light Corn Syrup
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1/2 C. Chopped Pecans (toasted)
5 Eggs (or Egg beaters)
1-1/2 C. Milk (or Skim,soy or rice milk)
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 loaf French or Italian bread (supermarket style) cut into 3/4 inch slices

In a Sauce pan over medium heat, mix and melt brown sugar, butter,syrup, cinnamon and pecans.
Spray 9X13 " baking dish with oil and pour the syrup mixture into the bottom of the pan.
In a mixing bowl, combine the eggs, milk and vanilla. Arrange the bread slices in the baking dish and pour the egg mixture over top.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
One hour before baking, remove French toast from the refrigerator.
Preheat the oven to 350 degree's.
Bake uncovered 30 minutes.
Serve immediately.
Makes 6-8 servings
***Its aroma while cooking along with our sausage patties and links really gets everyone up in the morning.
